Our vision is that Black Americans will become more committed to
their own development: economically, politically and socially, so
that they can attain control over their destiny and move into
ownership of the American Dream through business, be it small or
corporate, and home ownership.
The mission of the Barrier Breakers Empowerment Council (BBEC) is
to be a resource for the Black community on educational, economical,
political and social principles and to promote the traditional
values of the Black community which are also the core values of
America:
Core Values:
- Strong families
- Faith in God
- Personal responsibility
- Quality education and
- Equal opportunities for all
The goal of BBEC is to return Black Americans to their
conservative roots by enlightening them about those who fought for
their freedom and civil rights and keeping them informed regarding
those who are now fighting for the educational and economical
advancement of Black Americans.
The objectives of the BBEC include:
-
conducting a nationwide, grassroots educational
campaign in Black communities
-
promote school choice opportunity scholarships to
give Black parents educational options and access to quality
education for their children
-
provide training and resources for grassroots
advocates and candidates for elected office
-
provide
information regarding the needs of Black Americans to elected
officials
Grassroots Outreach
BBEC is forming local chapters to build our
network of Black advocates across the country. The growth and
activities of these chapters will be supported by BBEC. BBEC will
sponsor grassroots campaign training programs, provide educational
tool kits to grassroots advocates and direct forums in Black
communities nationwide.
Legislative Action
We will advise leaders across the country. We will contact leaders
in the legislature from the level of the local city government,
county representatives and state capitols to the levels at the U.S.
CapitolMedia Contact
BBEC will make the case for traditional American principles in
the local and mainstream media and local Black news sources.
